1. Can the device detect Apple devices? How should this be explained to customers?
Answer: Yes, but only Apple devices with an IMSI card and in communication state. Detecting Apple phones is not the primary function of the device, and the accuracy is not high, so it can only be used as a reference.
2. What is the detection range of the B30 device? Please provide actual test data.
Answer: The theoretical detection range of the B30 is ≤30 meters. The actual range depends on the environmental field strength. Describe the actual testing process and the number of devices detected.
3. How many detection modes does the device have? Explain their functions and applicable scenarios.
Answer: Two modes:
Control Mode (Blacklist Mode): Only devices in the blacklist are detected.
Anti-Control Mode (Whitelist Mode): Devices not in the whitelist are detected.
4. Which mode should be selected for daily use: Air Interface Mode or Synchronization Mode?
Answer: Air Interface Mode.
5. Describe the status of each indicator light during normal device detection.
Answer: The power light is solid green, and the signal light flashes blue.
6. What could be the reason if the device’s power light is red?
Answer: Low battery power or incompatible voltage.
7. What is the device’s status if the power light is solid green but the signal light is flashing?
Answer: The device is powered on normally, and the APP is waiting for connection.
8. If the device shows no response for a long time after powering on, how should troubleshooting be performed? (List specific steps)
Answer: First, check the lights to determine whether it is a power issue or a connection issue. If it is a power issue, replace the power source. If it is a connection issue, check the hotspot settings.
9. What is the operating voltage of the device?
Answer: 20V.
10. What do the maximum value, minimum value, and disconnection of the target signal represent?
Answer: Maximum value 99, minimum value 7, and -1 indicates disconnection.
11. Under what circumstances should the proximity button be activated? What is its function?
Answer: Activate proximity when the reported value is saturated and localization is difficult. After activation, the reported value decreases by approximately 3.
12. What is the function of the forced connection feature?
Answer: It addresses the 5G disconnection issue for Huawei Tianji series phones.
13. What are the specific steps for upgrading the baseband version? (Advanced question)
Answer: Upload the IMG file to the NR5G-Log & Upgrade-Upgrade directory on the operating device in advance. In the software settings, click “Upgrade Baseband,” select the uploaded file, and click “Upgrade.” Wait for the upgrade to complete and restart.
14. What configuration adjustments are needed if the user intends to use the device abroad? (Advanced question)
Answer: Customize the PLMN configuration. Add the local PLMN to the PLMN list.
15. How many connection modes does the device support? How are they connected? (Advanced question)
Answer: Hotspot and Ethernet cable connection. For hotspot connection, enter the device code and password in the operating device’s hotspot settings. For Ethernet cable connection, change the connection mode to Ethernet cable connection in advance, and connect the phone using an Ethernet-to-Type-C cable. If the connection fails for a long time, try turning off Wi-Fi and mobile data.
16. If the customer requests the device to display only iPhone targets, how should this be communicated?
Answer: It is possible to set this in the settings. However, detecting Apple phones is not the primary function of the device, and the accuracy is not high, so it can only be used as a reference.
17. Does the APP support iOS and Kirin HarmonyOS?
Answer: It supports HarmonyOS.
18. If a user marks a suspicious device in the list, will the remark be retained if the device comes online again after 30 days?
Answer: Remarks are permanently retained.
19. If a user removes a device from the whitelist, will the remark still be displayed if the device is detected again?
Answer: Remarks are permanently retained.
20. What filtering methods does the APP support for the detection list?
Answer: Signal strength, number of detections, carrier classification, and time.
21. For mobile phones/locators in standby, airplane mode, powered off, sleep, deep sleep, timed startup, or remote shutdown states, which states cannot be detected by the device? (Advanced question)
Answer: All states except airplane mode and powered off can be detected.
22. Will the device’s performance decline after running for more than 48 hours? Does it need to be shut down for rest?
Answer: No, the device can run continuously for extended periods.
23. What is the maximum number of blacklist and whitelist entries the device can store?
Answer: Unlimited.
24. Will remarks in the detection list be automatically cleared after 30 days?
Answer: No, they are permanently saved.
25. Does the device automatically scan the surrounding environment every time it starts?
Answer: Yes.
26. Are the blacklist and whitelist tables shared? Can blacklist/whitelist entries be added directly from the detection list?
Answer: They are not shared. In whitelist mode, only whitelist entries can be added. In blacklist mode, entries must be manually input.
27. Does the detection list support batch operations to add all detected devices to a list?
Answer: Yes.
28. What should be checked in advance before selling or demonstrating the device? (Advanced question)
Answer: Check whether the baseband version and software version of the device are the latest.
29. What is the positioning accuracy of the device?
Answer: 0.5 cm.
30. What is the power supply method of the device?
Answer: Power bank or built-in charger.
31. What is the maximum number of targets the device can simultaneously search for? (Advanced question)
Answer: 200 or more.
32. What is the target discovery rate of the device within its coverage range? (Advanced question)
Answer: 95%.
33. How should the device’s frequency scanning function be described? (Advanced question)
Answer: It scans all carrier base station information in the current environment, providing reference for fully automatic base station setup or manual frequency point optimization. This helps increase detection speed and the number of detected devices.
